Reforestation Project

The growth and advancement of civilization over natural environments has made nature conservation corners increasingly rare. It is known that all the resources we use come from nature, whether water or food, materials used by the industry or fuels from fossil materials, rivers, winds or the sun. We also know the "Ecological Services". These services depend on various factors and species that work naturally and generously for humanity. The disruption of these natural processes compromises the whole balance of nature. Environmental services offered by nature come in a variety of ways, including protection of rivers and springs, control of rainfall, floods and droughts, purification of water and air, pollination of vegetation, seeds by birds and wind, in the transfer of nutrients, in the conservation of the biodiversity from which mankind has been extracting essential elements for agriculture, medicines and industry and also in other influences of the climate. When we realize that we are destroying the source of our own life on the planet we must do our part in the rehabilitation of natural ecosystems

Project I,  foresees the recovery of areas that have been degraded by man throughout history, and will be done by reforesting the places where the original forest was cut for the development of economic activities, such as the overthrow of native species and plantation of trees of exotic species that served for supply and generation of energy of the boilers of a tannery, as well as for the cattle raising. Reforestation aims to recover the local environment, protect the springs and maintain biodiversity. Areas that once formed environments where wild animals could not survive must be transformed into productive forests that will provide food and shelter for wildlife and stimulate ecological services for man.

The total area to be reforested has 20 hectares. In the first stage of the Project, an area of ​​approximately 10 hectares was allocated, divided in 4 distinct areas, using the succession system due to proven effectiveness in the recovery of degraded areas, thus guaranteeing the harmony with nature and the protection of biodiversity , which is nothing more than the existence of a wide variety of animal species, plants and micro-organisms in a particular natural habitat.
